Last Friday Night

No matter what your are doing, you know them: These few special moments that are remembered throughout the course of other events as outstanding experiences, that let you grow and empower you to see your greater goals. Sometimes it takes a lot of time and other events to clearly see what is special. And sometimes you realize in an instant: WOW! THAT WAS TRULY GREAT!

I got struck by such rapture last friday night in Frankfurt when I was part of an event called "Musikszene Frankfurt". The gist of it was to bring together four musicians from or connected to Frankfurt and have them play 30 minute sets in front of a huge dedicated audience in Frankfurt's biggest library. Aside from the plane idea being wonderful the other acts I shared the stage with weren't less wonderful: Preslisa, Madeleine Persson and Susie Asado. Amelie Persson, who did background vocals for some of the songs during the Boo Hoo set and Piwi, who drew the covers for "Hypermarché" and "Afghan Hounds" sold their comics and dozens of Frankfurt friends attended the show, said hello and had fun.
All in all it was a very bright and positive night as Detlef Kinsler, who kindly organized the whole thing intended it to be from the early planning stages last december on. What a beautiful inspiring night!

For another reason the night was very specical to me: I sold out all of the "Afghan Hounds" copies I had with me that night, which were the last copies of the 1500 copies of the 1st I had made 1 1/2 years ago. Thanks to everybody who supported Boo Hoo and helped making "Afghan Hounds" such a great success!

Thank you, Frankfurt
